SETTING SIGHTS ON FIRST ACROSS THE LINE IN EUROPE.

Emma Twigg is an athlete at the top of her game. Her 2024 international campaign is about to kick off, and all eyes are on Emma to see if she can equal or beat her past record and bring home gold.

Before she headed over to compete in rowing’s toughest international events, we caught up to talk about her history with SLR and what it means to be racing our boats at such a highly competitive level.

The SLR team will be cheering Emma on from our living rooms and, in some cases, the sidelines as she takes SLR to the world in 2024. As she competes in what could potentially be her final international campaign, wrapping up what has been an outstanding professional rowing career.

We couldn’t be more proud to support our SLR Ambassador and friend in her endeavours to be first across the line, and we can’t wait to watch her on the water.

Emma and Simon discuss the finer details of her boat design during the R&D stage.

Emma’s story is a 101 on how fierce determination and grit alongside timing and talent can forge a formidable history making career, in whatever you do. Take a listen to Emma’s recent RNZ interview with Jesse Mulligan to hear more about her incredible journey.
