At SL Racing, everything we produce is focused on one thing: getting you first across the line.
We design and hand-build premium carbon fibre racing rowing shells and high-performance carbon riggers from our facility in Hawke’s Bay, New Zealand. Developing each product with meticulous attention to detail, using the best materials and the brightest engineering minds in the business.

We work alongside industry-leading engineers, aerodynamicists, and composite specialists. Including experts whose credentials have been forged in America’s Cup campaigns, to push performance without compromise on strength, balance, or reliability. Our hulls are designed in collaboration with naval architects, combining hydrodynamic research with real-world feedback from coaches and athletes at every level.
We source the world’s best materials. Every hull is autoclave-cured in New Zealand, ensuring precise, repeatable results and a five-year warranty you can race on.
We never stop innovating. Small incremental improvements compound into real, measurable gains on the water – and as coaches who attend regattas year-round, we see our products performing in conditions most boat makers never witness firsthand.
